Donations for the people of Haiti after Hurricane Matthew

Four days after Hurricane Matthew ripped through Haiti, the country is in a very bad shape, some areas are devastated. Of the 10.3 million people, 1.3 million have been impacted by the storm. We are collecting donation items, (not money) that we will take to one of the organizations in charge of getting the goods to Haiti.

You can bring the items to the practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday.

These are the PRIORITY items:

  • Zip Lock Bags
  • Markers perm
  • Tape (clear box & duct)
  • Liquid detergent
  • Feminine supplies
  • Personal hygiene items (toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo etc.)
  • Plastic garbage bags, ties (for personal sanitation uses)
  • Plastic bucket with tight lid
  • Household chlorine bleach, disinfectant
  • Plenty of absorbent towels
  • Aspirin or non-aspirin pain reliever, Benadryl, peroxide
  • Anti-diarrhea medication, Antacid (for stomach upset)
  • Syrup of Ipecac (use to induce vomiting if advised by the Poison Control Center)
  • Laxative
