2010 Travel Team

Our 2010 Travel Team has historically been the most succesful and loyal team of our club. Some of the team members are at our organization since 2016, from the time when they were in the U6 age division.

Many of the players have already been invited to and been playing in MLS Next clubs. Two players are part of the Inter Miami CF MLS Next Discovery program in the Spring 2024 Season.

Under AC Miami partner program four of the 2010 players visited our European partner clubs in summer 2023. Both Ferencvarosi TC and Ujpesti TE provided a training camp and tryout opportunity for our AC Miami members.

One of the team’s biggest achievements is winning the 2023 Freedom Cup Qualifiers and qualifying to the MLS level tournament that took place in December 2023.

The 2010 team is in our most competitive program with two travel teams rosters under one umbrella. in which the ‘A” and ‘B’ team roster is in rotation based on the players’ actual weekly performance. The pool of ‘A’ and ‘B’ team players practice together with the Head and Assistant Coach, but based on their weekly practice attitude, work ethic and game performance, they are rotated in between the two rosters throughout the entire season.
With that being established, we will apply the professional European teams’ system, in which the underperforming athlete gets the same amount of playtime, but in the reserve group, and the players with the best work ethic are invited to the top team's roster. Using this method we can secure the playing time of each player, and in the same time make sure, competitive nature surrounds us throughout the whole season.
