2025/26 Season Opening Letter

Dear Parents and Players,

We are thrilled to kick off the 2025/26 soccer season at Athletic Club Miami!

We’re excited to maintain continuity this year, with no major changes to our program’s schedule or locations. Practice times have shifted by no more than 30 minutes compared to last season, ensuring minimal disruption.

For our middle and high school players, we’ve adjusted the tournament schedule to accommodate school soccer commitments. Tournaments will be skipped on weekends that conflict with school events, and players will be excused from practices on required practice days.

We are introducing a reimagined 25/26 Uniform design in partnership with our returning global sponsor, Remitly, and welcoming our new local sponsor, Level10Closings of South Florida. The uniforms will be handed out at the first practice on Monday at Sunset Park Elementary School, 5PM - 8:30PM.

WEEKLY Schedule: remember the players are expected to attend a minimum of three (3) practices weekly.

We’re proud to introduce our new coaching staff, continuing our tradition of bringing top-tier European expertise to our academy. Please welcome:

  • Krisztian Mikoczi: A seasoned professional who has played and coached in top divisions across multiple countries. Krisztian has led MLS Next youth teams, NCAA college teams, and conducted developmental sessions and tactical analysis for MLS players like Daniel Pinter, Aiden Harangi, Pedro Soma.

  • Oleksandr Khrabrov: With over a decade of experience developing youth players in Kharkiv, Ukraine, Oleksandr has guided many athletes, like Andrej Lunin to top divisions in Europe.

  • Andras Vilnrotter Babocsy: Widely known as Coach Andy, he is one of Hungary’s premier youth and professional goalkeeper coaches, holding a UEFA A Goalkeeper License.

We also share bittersweet news: Coach Sandor has stepped away from Athletic Club Miami due to family reasons and will continue his coaching career in Budapest. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.

To start the season, we invite you to a 30-minute parents’ meeting via Zoom this Saturday from 4:00–4:30 PM. Please make time to join us.

The tournament calendar for U13, U14, and U15 teams has been shared, with schedules for other divisions to follow tomorrow.

Thank you for being part of the Athletic Club Miami family. Let’s make this season one to remember!
Sincerely,
